Miami Kids Guitar was started by Richie Zellon,a graduate of Berklee College of Music who is a seasoned  music educator, producer and performer. Proficient  in a variety of styles ranging from classic rock to jazz. Richie has held  music teaching positions at Florida International  University (Miami), USF (Tampa), The Arts and Minds Music  Conservatory (Coconut Grove) and both  The Audio Recording Technology Institute and The Music Workshop  (Orlando).  
 
 Richie is also one of the first certified Suzuki Guitar teachers in the  country  and  first  worked teaching children this method throughout  the  90’s at  the  Longwood  Suzuki School of Music in Central Florida. He  has since  combined several  principles of the Suzuki system with other  methods in  order to teach children not only classical guitar but also  rock, blues and  even jazz!

 
 All instructors for Miami Kids Guitar are under Richie's direction and  supervision and employ the same teaching method.
